having suffered for many years with deteriorating mobility, a friend questioned why I was not using a wheelchair.
So I thought about this and decided that all things considered it was about time to face reality.
I chose the Quickie Helium for its style and light weight. The weight is hugely important to me as I travel solo quite a lot so need to be able to move the chair in and out of my car easily.
The style is great, I chose the white frame and orange fittings as I thought it was the least like a football team colours (although Blackpool, I am told). If you look at me and see a chair it might as well look good 🙂
for control, I have found it fantastic and have been able to develop handling skills with very little difficulty.
The chair is comfortable, and I was very impressed with the level of customisation available.
