My Helium gave me wings ! ;)

I recently bought a quickie helium ! It wasn’t brand new but new to me and all as per my required measurements .
This chair was an upgrade after using a Life F and I had been wanting to change from a folding frame to a rigid for quite a while. I prefer the stability of a rigid, easier to get in and out of the car as the driver, i found the movement within the folding frame was increasing my pain and hoped the rigid frame would change that.

So when i first got it i initally wanted to rip off that training wheel….. i mean anti tip bar….. just not cool are they ? ( obviously for safety reason these should be left put!!! lol ) I wasn’t quite prepared for how light the Helium is !!! VERY impressed at the ease of pushing it, glides really well with minimal effort but feels well within control at the same time. Really easy to get in and out of the car due to it’s weight and folding back. Good on uneven ground once you get used to it , initially i found this the biggest change / challenge and after faceplanting a few times in the first few hours realised that being a rigid frame really does make a difference. I can’t find a single “fault” with the Helium, it’s light, it looks awesome, it’s easy to transfer into the car from, it’s easy to get in and out of the car, it’s comfortable and moves with minimal effort. Still a few things i’m changing gradually ( different castors etc) and have added surge rims but all in all a brilliant active chair that has truly given me back a sense of independence and enjoying going out without added fatigue.
