Based on the proven Action family design, Action 5 Rigid features an energy efficient, rigid frame designed to provide effortless propulsion by the user. This gives excellent manoeuvrability and drive performance in all types of environments.
From just 10.8kg, Action 5 Rigid is ideal for active individuals and first-time wheelchair users. It has a quick and easy setup that can be finely adjusted to suit different requirements. The Action 5 Rigid also features the Invacare unique patented backrest technology. The backrest enables an adjustable seat depth, angle and height in stepless adjustments.
The adjustable benefits of the Action 5 range also extends to the frame. The centre of gravity and camber can be adjusted to fine tune each wheelchair to the user. All of the configuration options are available across the Action 5 range in both Adult and Junior sizes. There is a choice of ten frame colours with three colours accents.

Recognising the challenge for people who won’t stop growing, there is also a junior version of the Action 5 Rigid. It provides an active paediatric manual chair that is designed to keep up with the demands of growing youngsters and teens.

The Action 5 Rigid is compatible with the Alber power add-on products increasing the range of mobility solutions with the e-pilot hand bike.
