It’s just under two weeks until Naidex44. It’s fair to say that people are getting excited in the office here, with bits arriving every day for the show. Don’t panic if you’ve not registered yet – you still have time to get your free tickets – just click here and register for the show. In the meantime though (to keep me going until the show mostly), lets have a quick look at what we know will be happening at Naidex… and what’s rumoured.
Alber and Invacare
We know that Invacare and Alber will be launching a new e-pilot system on stand 13240 – there’s also some video footage being teased too. We also know that they’ll be showcasing their Linx control system, which can connect to your smartphone to allow you to undertake diagnostics in the unlikely moment that something doesn’t work.

Expect to be able to see the K-Series, the Champion SK and the TDX2 equipped with Linx controller on their stand as well as on the Midshire’s stand (stand 13234)
RGK
RGK are celebrating 30 years of manufacturing active wheelchairs this year and with just two weeks until Naidex44, we know there are going to be some special giveaways and offers at the show. What, we’re not sure yet, although as soon as we know we’ll let you know on our Facebook page. It’s also rumoured that there will be a launch of a new wheelchair.
We know there will be their wide range of sports and daily chairs on show at stand 8210 – including the Tiga FX, ultralight Sub4 and the Predator sports chair. It’s also rumoured that someone with Paralympic connections will be the guest speaker on the second day. (Edit: It has since been confirmed that Sir Philip Craven MBE will be attending on the second day.) RGK have an event page on their Facebook too.
Sunrise and Quickie
You can expect the popular manual wheelchair to be the Quickie Krypton, their new carbon braid wheelchair that’s available in both folding and rigid versions. Alongside these, we understand there will be new developments with powerchairs as well – so stay tuned for that. You can find Quickie Wheelchairs at stand 13134
Progeo
With two weeks to go until Naidex, Progeo have confirmed that they’ll have products at wheelAIR/2020 Mobility (stand 9150) and John Preston (8180). We’d recommend looking at the Joker R2, which we reviewed late last year and the Duke – a carbon fibre wheelchair – both are highly configurable and we love the Italian flair of the design.
Two weeks until Naidex44 for us too
We’ll be there on stand 11270 – come and say hello to us! We’ll be on hand to discuss our thoughts on key wheelchairs, as well as to show users our new Retailer listing tool. We’ll also be giving you updates from the show in our daily “In Case You Missed It” through our Naidex Hub, some Facebook, Twitter and Instagram updates and looking to set the best time on the TGA test track (can you blame us?!).
