wheelAIR on Dragons’ Den

News

Many people were glued to the BBC on Sunday 14 January 2018 to see wheelAIR on Dragons’ Den, with brand ambassador Michael Kerr and founder Corien Staels showcasing the wheelAIR cooling backrest cushion.

“It was a truly thrilling (and extremely nerve-wracking) experience,” said Corien, talking about representing wheelAIR on Dragons’ Den

“The Dragons certainly got fiery over my numbers and some clever editing made it appear as though I was dangerously close to passing out… But, as the episode revealed, I recovered (thank god for that banana!) and the Dragons were big wheelAIR fans… four out of five were extremely keen to invest!”

“Receiving offers from 4 Dragons was beyond my wildest expectations and an important moment for the business.  The episode was filmed 6 months ago and since then, the business has changed, but the wheelAIR’s quality has never been higher. We now operate with a distributor and dealer model, bringing the wheelAIR to shops near you.”

Corien has also revealed that subsequent to filming, wheelAIR won several monetary awards which allowed wheelAIR to postpone the investment.
