Pioneering TGA product launches and popular test track delivers unique Naidex visitor experience

Naidex News

TGA has successfully delivered a multi-dimensional showcase to consumer and trade visitors at Naidex 2018 (25-26th April, NEC Birmingham), which included its test track and WHILL C powerchair.

As a high profile exhibitor, the TGA stand and mobility test track provided a show highlight this year with significant numbers of visitors over the two days. The large range of TGA products was displayed alongside two new innovations – the ground-breaking WHILL C Personal EV (powerchair) and Autofold Minimo mobility scooter. Naidex visitors were able to see these products for the very first time and the test track provided the ideal arena to experience WHILL C.

TGA Whill C

WHILL C is a step forward in person mobility design. Developed by talented Japanese designers, WHILL C is unlike any other affordable powered wheelchair – it combines looks, manoeuvrability and comfort with advanced transportability. WHILL C has been specifically developed for style-conscious individuals who seek a different product for their independence and a confident lifestyle. It builds on the innovation of the 4WD WHILL M with the added advantages of lower cost, a lighter design and the ability to be dismantled for car boot storage. Nevertheless, it still encompasses many technological features of the larger WHILL M including the revolutionary all-directional ‘Omni’ front wheels – ensuring the tightest of spaces can be negotiated with the smallest feasible turning circle.

TGA Roadshow Test Track

Alongside its exhibition stand, TGA’s mobility test track was busy throughout the show with visitors test driving scooters and powerchairs in a safe environment. Enhanced with more features for 2018, the track encompassed different scenarios and surfaces that simulated everyday obstacles. This reiterated TGA’s commitment to safe driving awareness for its customers.

Daniel Stone, TGA Managing Director summaries:

“We believe visitors to our stand and test track have benefited greatly from experiencing the ‘TGA difference’ at Naidex 2018. The team and I received positive feedback from all attendees, both consumer and trade, especially regarding the new WHILL C and Minimo Autofold. Whether visitors were professional or end user, they were able to witness first-hand why we continue to be a leading specialist. Our engineering excellence and award-winning styling was clear for all to see. The interest and energy generated at Naidex now gives us the perfect platform to accelerate success this year, both for us and our customers.”
