What to expect at MRS2017

Mobility Roadshow News

MRS2017Not sure about attending the Mobility Roadshow this week?  Making up your mind to visit a show can always be hard, especially if you have a distance to travel or want to make sure you make the most of your energy (or spoons).  Here are some of the highlights we are looking forward to and what you can expect at MRS2017.  So, without further ado – here’s our list!

RGK

RGK will no doubt be showing off their Sub4 – the manual wheelchair that is under 4kg.  We saw this at Naidex in March and found it very easy to use.  As well as this, we can expect some sports chairs and roadchairs to be on show.  They can be found on stand E16.

Cyclone

Cyclone will be showing off their Batec handbike range, as well as a number of manual wheelchairs.  Sophie Morgan has recently been appointed ambassador for the handbike range and videos are available of her showing some of the benefits in a city environment.  As well as this, the Batec handbike is great in the country too – pay Cyclone a visit at stand M6.

Recare

Recare are a mobility equipment specialist who sell many manufacturers, including Ottobock, Sunrise and Invacare.  You can expect them to have a great range of manual and electric wheelchairs on their stand – you can visit them at stand L8.

Motus Medical

Motus Medical are a mobility equipment specialist who offer Sunrise and Invacare wheelchairs.  They will be showing the Quickie Sedeo Ergo, which is the latest in premium seating systems from Sunrise.  You can visit them on stand C2.

Loopwheels

Loopwheels have quite literally reinvented the wheel, improving the ride for manual wheelchair users without seriously impacting on the push performance.  They don’t cost the earth either and have a wide range of customisation options.

Don’t just take our word for it though – you can read about them in our review here and pay them a visit at stand E2.

TGA

TGA WhillTGA have recently launched the WHILL electric wheelchair, which has several unique features about the way in which it drives.  Whilst we’ve got a review planned soon, we’d still recommend a visit to them on stand B6
